Gallery Introduction Founded in 2008, NEXT DOOR GALLERY is located in a newly renovated Korean traditional house in the Gyeongbok Palace art district of Seoul. The space includes a main exhibition space and an outdoor window gallery, providing intimate milieus for viewing art. As the name suggests, NEXT DOOR GALLERY aspires to be a close neighbor to artists as well as a comfortable and reliable partner to collectors, critics and gallery goers. NEXT DOOR GALLERY seeks domestic and international artists that deliver unique and personal insights through their work, balancing the myriad tools of their craft to draw-in the viewer holistically. Ultimately, the aim of NEXT DOOR GALLERY is to set a commercial platform for promising artists and to cultivate a spirited artistic dialog around the issues, trends and personalities in contemporary visual arts. The gallery has held more than 30 exhibitions in the main gallery and guest-curated many more for other venues. NEXT DOOR GALLERY promotes its artists to a wider scope of collectors and viewers by participating in numerous art fairs including Doors Art Fair in Seoul and Art Daegu in Daegu, Korea and Art Fair Kyoto in Japan and more.

옆집갤러리 (작업실 옆집갤러리)는 한옥을 개조한 갤러리로 2008년 경복궁 서쪽 창성동에 오픈하였습니다. 유망한 다음 세대 작가를 발굴 지원하는 상업갤러리로서 본 전시실과 윈도우 전시실을 가지고 있으며 작품을 가깝게 감상하기를 원하는 장소입니다. 소박한 이름과 같이, 언제나 작가의 옆에서 함께하고 싶습니다. 또한 미술을 사랑하는 컬렉터, 평론가의 믿음 있는 이웃이 되고 싶습니다. 옆집갤러리는 전시, 판매, 미술컨설팅 및 국내외 아트페어를 통해 지속적으로 의미있는 작품을 선보이겠습니다.

옆집갤러리 오시는 길

Subway: Orange Line #3 to Gyeongbokgung Station. Take Exit 4 and walk 7 minutes north along the Gyeongbok Palace walls. Turn left at the first left traffic signal at the corner of Brain Factory Gallery. Walk to the golf store and make a right. 

Drive: Turn right (toward Hyojadong or Blue House) at the west corner of Gyeongbok Palace. Drive along the Gyeongbok Palace walls and make left to the first left signal, right before the Blue House checkpoint. Stop at the mk2 bar and walk to the side street. Street parking is not available. Please call (02) 730 2560 for the nearest paid parking lots. 

오시는 길: 운전시 경복궁 서쪽 담을 따라 청와대, 효자동 방향으로 오시다가 첫 번째 좌회전 신호에서 좌회전한 후 <골프점> 골목으로 들어오시면 <옆집갤러리>가 있습니다. // 지하철 이용시 3호선 경복궁 역에서 하차, 4번 출구로 나오신 후 경복궁 담을 따라 오시다가 <브레인팩토리>에서 좌회전하신 후 <골프점> 사이의 길로 들어오시면 <옆집갤러리>가 있습니다. 또는 3번 출구로 나오신 후 자하문 방향으로 7분쯤 직진하시다가 <커피즐겨찾기>에서 우회전하셔서 <골프점> 골목으로 들어오시면 <옆집갤러리>가 있습니다.
